Are older people important to your fundraising and volunteering?

nfpSynergy is a research consultancy dedicated to the not for profit sector. I always enjoy reading its  e-newsletter and this edition had an item that I thought it worth mentioning.

The following is a straight copy from the publication

‘Older Richer’ Syndicated Research Product - a joint venture from nfpSynergy and marketing and research consultancy Social Partnerships

Understanding how prosperous people over the age of 55 view the third sector will help charities access this important donor demographic. The information gained from this study has universal appeal but will be particularly valuable for organisations that work closely with people over 55. The aim of this research is to provide charities with everything they need to know about this audience in order to maximise their potential for support, both in terms of money and time.

We are proposing a meeting between 11 and 1pm on Monday 26 March to discuss this product offer with any interested parties. Please let us know if you would like to attend – or if you wish to be involved. Want to find out more? Contact Jo or call 020 7426 8888.

If you are involved in the charities industry and you are interested in your older volunteers and donors (as you should be) then this might be very useful. Dick Stroud
